Treatment Programs

Evidence-based programs tailored to your unique recovery needs

Medical Detox

Our medically supervised detoxification program provides safe, comfortable withdrawal management under the care of our physicians and nursing staff. Available around the clock at our Hayward facility, medical detox typically lasts 3 to 7 days depending on the substance and severity of dependence.

Our medical team, led by Dr. Priya Nair, utilizes medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when appropriate to ease withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings. Every patient receives continuous monitoring, nutritional support, and compassionate care during this critical first stage of recovery.

Upon completing detox, patients transition seamlessly into our residential or outpatient programs, ensuring continuity of care throughout their recovery journey.

Residential Treatment

Our residential treatment program offers an immersive, structured environment for individuals who need 24/7 support during early recovery. Programs typically last 30 to 90 days and take place within our 29-bed facility on Tampa Avenue in Hayward.

Residents participate in a full schedule of individual counseling, group therapy, family sessions, and holistic wellness activities. Our clinical team develops a personalized treatment plan for each patient, addressing the root causes of addiction through evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, trauma-focused therapy, and relapse prevention training.

The warm, home-like atmosphere of our campus is designed to help residents feel safe and grounded as they develop the skills and resilience needed for long-term sobriety.

Outpatient Program

Our outpatient programs provide flexible, high-quality addiction treatment for individuals who need to maintain work, school, or family responsibilities while receiving care. We offer three levels of outpatient support at our Hayward center:

  • Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP): 5 days per week, 6 hours per day of structured clinical programming.
  • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): 3 to 5 days per week, 3 hours per day, with morning and evening session options.
  • Standard Outpatient: Weekly individual and group sessions for ongoing support and relapse prevention.

Outpatient programs run 2 to 12 weeks and serve as both a step-down from residential care and a direct entry point for those with moderate treatment needs.

Dual Diagnosis

Many individuals struggling with addiction also face co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, or bipolar disorder. Our dual diagnosis program treats both conditions simultaneously, because addressing only one leaves the other untreated and increases the risk of relapse.

Our clinical team, led by Clinical Director Angela Whitfield, integrates psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and specialized therapeutic modalities to provide comprehensive care. Patients receive individualized treatment plans that address the complex interplay between substance use and mental health.

This integrated approach has been a cornerstone of CMB Addiction Treatment's success, helping patients achieve stability in both their mental health and their recovery.
